Davey O'List

Davey O'List is an English musician and songwriter known for his contributions to the rock and psychedelic music scenes of the 1960s and 1970s. Born on March 13, 1949, he gained prominence as the guitarist for influential bands such as The Attack and The Nice. With The Attack, he was part of the British psychedelic movement, contributing to their self-titled album and the notable single “Try a Little Sunshine.” O'List's work with The Nice, alongside keyboardist Keith Emerson, further solidified his reputation in the progressive rock genre. He played on their debut album, "The Thoughts of Emerlist Davjack" (1969), showcasing his innovative guitar work and compositional skills. After leaving The Nice, he continued to work with various artists and bands, including a stint with Roxy Music, where he contributed to their early sound.
